OK. So I've had piercings before but I'm planning on getting my eyebrow done and I have a couple of questions that seem to have a variation of answers according to what I've been able to find online. The first one is in the actual piercing technique. Is it better for the piercing if the piercer uses clamps or not? Also which type of jewelry will prevent migration the best: the curved barbell or the ring? I've heard multiple answers so if anybody has experience with the eyebrow piercing that would be great.

i'm not sure about the piercing technique, but I would guess that as long as you go to a reputable piercer they would do it correctly. And from my experience the best jewelry would be a curved barbell.

Yes he should use clamps because using a piercing gun (like for ears) is one of the worst things you can do! Plus I never heard of any piercer not using clamps for surface piercings. STAY AWAY FROM GUN USING PIERCERS = BAD PIERCINGS, INFECTIONS etc. What you want is called a surface piercing. Get flexible jewelry like Tygon to help prevent migration. Curved barbell elimates some of the stress from friction (like moving in your sleep, etc) so that is what I recommend. Hope I helped.
